Encouraging songs

I'm quite fond of this text, but it only works as sing-along, otherwise it feels like "ok, good for you". My only objection is "living my life for me". I'm not sure that's the right receipt.





An old classic I always liked is this one. I like the idea of not giving up on dreams.
But there is quite of lot of climbing to do and streams to forge. Since she uses "you" it feels like she is giving some advice to keep on moving and not give up!
"Last all you life" is also a bit optimistic isn't it? Especially is the life is devoted to climbing and forging...

I like it with the old nun singing as in the original from Sound of Music, but this one is quite emotional too.. (my advice is to stop when they start talking...)

I remember when my mother brought us to the movies to see Sound of Music..
