I liked to discuss politics when I was young. When I discussed with my parents I sometimes found them old fashioned and having a lot prejudices.
Now my kids discuss things like politics and religion with me. They have studied all kinds of theories at school. Nowadays they learn a lot but they think they know everything. Just like I did too once upon a time.
When I say "this is my opinion based on my experience" they tell me I'm wrong! When I bring up examples from the real world based on my or other people's experience they tell me I have prejudices! It was much more fun to be young and live in an ideal world than being grown up and be accused of being narrow minded. If we managed to combine their theories with my experiences we would probably come closer to the reality. Sometimes the kids tell me new things I didn't already know, but they have for sure stopped accepting anything I tell them.
Guess it is evolution. I just want to know; who the hell taught them to argue?
