I can lead or I can follow, but I hate any form of dictatorship (at least when executed by others). Dictatorship in the small scale, can be to make a proposal, then take the same decision and not allow any other opinions.
I believe the best situation is when someone is making a proposal and someone else is approving it.
In a job situation, you expect managers to take decisions when you make a proposal. I used to have a manager who hardly took any decisions, never gave any feedback and couldn't manage any conflicts. Never answered mails. It was quite frustrating, especially since the manager acted as some sort of non functioning gateway to the rest of the world. It makes me think of the expression "sitting duck", or rather in this case "sit and duck".
